Michael Hofe, Chief Development Officer

Mike Hofe has been involved in the defense aviation, satellite and military communication,  the wireless industry and the telecommunications tower and site management industries for over 40 years. At Coleman Communications, Mike is responsible for directing the Business and Corporate Development activities of the company, along with coordinating with clients on bid proposals and contract issues.

​In the late 1970's and early 1980's, Mike worked in defense aviation systems at Fairchild Space and Electronics and the Satellite industry for Comsat Laboratories.  Additionally, in the early 1980's, Mike was involved with Special Projects during the Cold War era in the European theater, developing portable tactical communication systems and supporting Embassy communication networks and systems.  At the same time, he was designing, constructing and operating some of the original Cellular Metropolitan Statistical Areas (MSA's) in the United States.  Beginning in 1990, Mike dedicated his focus on the wireless sector as a founding management team member of Horizon Cellular Group, a highly successful Rural Service Area (RSA) owner/operator backed by McCaw Cellular and in 1995 thru 2006, Mike co-founded several wireless infrastructure companies to include Integrated Site Development Company (ISDC) and Liberty Towers.

In addition to these achievements, Mike is a member of the Wireless Infrastructure Associations Infrastructure Developers Forum (IDF), a past member of the National Association of Tower Erectors Safety and Education Committee and the Radio Club of America.
